Class Rooms:
Class rooms can accommodate 40 students in each classroom comfortably. The Classrooms are equipped with White writing-boards, wall-mounted Screens for viewing Multimedia Presentations, Over Head Projectors & Slide Projectors, DVD for virtual studies, wall mounted posters, modern benches and desks, table-chair and rostrum for the Instructor.

Teaching Aids:
A video library to support educational programmes having wide variety of video films and training software on various topics. Classes are conducted with the help of Multimedia Presentations, overhead projectors and slide projectors. Industry best Seamanship Laboratory, Workshop etc. for practical training.

Residential facilities for trainees:
AMS has well-maintained hostel accommodation for trainees. Hostel mainly maintains two types of accommodations, Dormitory type and Twin sharing rooms. Hostel block can presently accommodate 100 trainees at any given time. Trainees are provided with facilities like Lockers, mattress, pillows (without cases), bed covers, etc.

Canteen Facilities:
AMS has a full-fledged Mess to cater to the meals and snacks for trainees. Canteen within the premises to enable students to purchase their stationary, toiletries, snacks etc. at concessional rates. Canteen is equipped with Cola and Coffee vending machines. The kitchen is spacious and well furnished with all modern equipments and facilities like latest electric, gas and steam cooking ranges. The hygiene level maintained is of international standard.

Toilets/Wash Rooms Facilities:
The Dormitory type accommodation has attached Washbasins, Urinals, Toilets and Bathrooms, which at a given time can cater to the needs of all the students. Twin sharing rooms has common wash rooms and toilets to maintain hygiene.

Library Facilities:
AMS maintains a reading room with a wide variety of books and publications of Marine and general interest.

Recreational Facilities:
Time is allowed for recreation, which is equally important for overall growth of a trainee and a necessary part of the training. TV with cable network is provided. Video films are shown regularly. AMS maintains a Foot Ball ground, Basket Ball, Tennis court, Volleyball Court, Carom Boards, and Table Tennis Tables.

Medical Facilities:
AMS has well-stocked First Aid and Medical chest facilities on campus and a panel of doctors to look after the medical requirements of trainees. AMS also conducts medical check-ups for its trainees whilst under training. A hospital is suited very close to AMS campus having 24 hours emergency facility.

Text Books:
AMS provides each trainee with a set of textbooks and training material at the time of admission, which becomes the property of the trainee after completion of training.

AMS provides uniforms to each trainee, which is to be worn at all times whilst at campus. Uniform will be supplied to the trainee within two weeks of joining.

Boarding and Lodging:
Being a fully residential programme, hostel facilities for cadets consist of well designed dormitories, Changing Rooms, Bathrooms etc. Mattresses, pillows, Bed covers will be supplied to each cadet on the day of joining for their personal use. To maintain hygiene cadets are required to bring along with bed sheets and pillow covers It is also available at Uniform shop an extra payments for out station students. Food served is of mixed cuisine to train cadets to get accustomed to various types of food preparations.

Arrangements exist for washing clothes which are collected and delivered weekly at cadets’ expense.

AMS will take necessary care about any emergencies. At the same time AMS is not responsible for any personal injury or any disease suffered by any trainee during their stay. Medical Assistance will be provided at the student's cost.
