When are the application Forms available?

Our intake is thrice a year pr-esea trainnings. Forms are available on our website and can also be available through link. Kindly contact Admin office in New Delhi.

I have appeared for class 10+2 examinations this year and results are yet to be declared, Can I still fill the Application form and appear in AMS Entrance Exams?

YES. You can fill the AMS Application form, leaving the space for class XII marks blank. 10+2 marks are required to be intimated by email as soon as the results are declared.

I do not have printer. Can I get a printed form so that I can send it to AMS by mail?

YES. AMS application forms are available for download on our website www.ams- college.in or you can also submit online application form through link.

I have secured less than 50% marks in PCM, but aggregate is more than 60%, am I eligible for AMS Pre-sea training for Deck Cadets DNS - Diploma in Nautical Science leading to BSc. - Bachelor of Applied Science (Nautical)?

YES. You can apply online for AMS Pre-sea training for Deck Cadets DNS - Diploma in Nautical Science leading to BSc. - Bachelor of Applied Science (Nautical). You will have to pass AMS Entrance (Written / Aptitude / Viva and Medicals).

YES. You can apply online for AMS Pre-sea trainingfor GP Ratings – General Purpose Ratings if you have aggregate 40% marks in Class X/SSC/SSLC from a recognised Board and with Science, Mathematics as subjects with minimum 40% marks in English Language.

I am 26 years of age, am I eligible for AMS Pre-sea training for GP Ratings – General Purpose Ratings?

YES. If yourdate of birth is up to 26 years of age or below as on September 1st of the year of admissions, are eligible for AMS Pre-sea training for GP Ratings – General Purpose Ratings.

I wear spectacles, can I apply for AMS Pre-sea training for Deck Cadets DNS - Diploma in Nautical Science leading to BSc. - Bachelor of Applied Sciences (Nautical) or Pre-sea training for GP Ratings – General Purpose Ratings?

YES, you can. You will to undergo LASIK operation and get your eye vision or eye sight correction to be eligible to applyfor AMS Pre-sea training for Deck Cadets DNS - Diploma in Nautical Science leading to BSc. - Bachelor of Applied Science (Nautical) or Pre-sea training for GP Ratings – General Purpose Ratings. When is the Medical Fitness & Visuals Test conducted? Can I get it done from my local doctors?

The Medical Fitness & Visuals Test is conducted after you have cleared AMS Entrance (Written / Aptitude & Viva). Medical Fitness & Visual Tests needs to be certified through any Directorate General of Shipping – DG Shipping, Government of India approved doctor only. The name and addresses of the doctors can be obtained from AMS admin office.

How can I get Educational Loan?

AMS Pre-sea training for Deck Cadets DNS - Diploma in Nautical Science leading to BSc. - Bachelor of Applied Science (Nautical) or Pre-sea training for GP Ratings – General Purpose Ratings are professional programmes and are eligible for Educational Loans through all nationalised bank throughout India. Yes, you can apply for passport as soon as you are selected for pre-sea training program. You need to submit the passport on the day of commencement of your respective pre-sea training.

Which CDC will I be getting on completion of AMS Pre-sea Training?

On successful completion of AMS Pre-sea training program you will be issued Indian CDC (Continuous Discharge Certificate) by Shipping office, Government of India. Shipping office sends CDC directly to the applicants to their respective addresses.

Since 2006

Classes for Pre-sea Trainings are being conducted online as per DG Shipping guidelines.

Passport is mandatory for any type of maritime trainings.
